Hilton Garden Inn Houston/Pearland Selected For Convention South Magazine’s 2014 List Of “The South’s Best Meeting Site Boardrooms”

Thirty boardrooms were selected by ConventionSouth’s editorial team for offering meeting/event attendees top-of-the-line amenities.

Pearland, Texas (March 11, 2014) –Hilton Garden Inn® Houston/Pearland hotel and conference center today announced that it has been selected by ConventionSouth Magazine’s editorial team for their 2014 list of “The South’s Best Meeting Site Boardrooms.”

“It is with great honor to recognize these 30 stunning boardrooms located at meeting sites across the South as these rooms offer the top-notch amenities that are highly sought after by meeting planners and their attendees,” said ConventionSouth Associate Publisher Marlane Bundock.

In early 2014, ConventionSouth put out the call for nominations for hotel and meeting facility boardrooms across the South. On February 28, 2014, editors reviewed the dozens of nominated boardrooms and judged each of them based on several factors, including:

– aesthetics, decor, lighting and views;

– presentation and conferencing technology, audio/visual and Internet capabilities;

– food and beverage capabilities;

– ergonomics and comfort; and

– privacy, soundproofing and security.

“Hilton Garden Inn is very pleased to be included on such a prestigious list,” said Yasmin Walji, President Houston YP Hospitality Management Inc., Manager of Hilton Garden Inn. “We strive to offer our customers a memorable experience, and this accolade is evidence that our hard work is translating into positive reviews by corporate meeting planners who seek executive boardrooms for their meetings and conventions.”
