Since inception we have made efforts to contribute to organizations that are global in nature with an appreciation for diversity and plurality, promoting programs in areas of sustainable development.
As a small business enterprise, we have participated in and contributed to local and community efforts advocating literacy, annual food drive events, kids soccer teams, school bags for needy children, and many other such activities.
The Jubilee Arts, with its celebration of the artistic talent and cultural traditions of the Canadian Ismaili Muslim Community, is exactly the type of program we are very proud to support.
About Jubilee Arts
Jubilee Arts is a new international program to be established in the Diamond Jubilee year that endeavours to celebrate the Ismaili community’s vast artistic skills and cultural traditions and aims to encourage a deeper appreciation for the arts within the community. Jubilee Arts provides opportunities for aspiring Ismaili artists from around the world to showcase and further develop their talents both during and beyond the Diamond Jubilee year.
Regional Festivals have been held over the last few months which included close to 1000 submissions, over 1500 artists and over 12 000 spectators. The Jubilee Arts National Festival will feature approximately 350 artists selected across the country from the Regional Festivals.
Selected participants from the Jubilee Arts National Festival will progress to the International Arts Festival. The International Arts Festival is a unique opportunity for the global Ismaili community to experience our rich cultural traditions and plurality through artistic expression.
The Festival will take place at the renowned Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto March 24 and 25, 2018. This unique family friendly event will allow guests to experience a dreamlike journey where music, film, performance and art collide in a sensory experience like no other including gallery spaces, a talent showcase and film festival.
